Accommodation:

May 2008 has seen a complete change at Silver Birch with a brand new modern cattery.

We spent many months researching catteries up and down the country, visiting many established business's as well as the cattery manufacturers. We then set about designing and planning for our new cattery with quality rather than quantity in mind. We have only 10 units in total, 8 doubles for 1 or 2 cats and 2 family units which can accommodate 4 from the same family.

.Our aim was to provide high quality, well built and spacious accommodation. Extensive ground works were carried out to enable us to build the new cattery with views of our Koi pond, to make a much friendlier environment for our feline guests.

The cattery was completed in May 2008 and no expense has been spared, from the UV protection polycarbonate roofing, double glazed windows and lined and insulated to the same standards as a house build. Making a safe, clean and fabulous retreat for your feline companions.

The pens have their own thermostatically controlled heating and low energy lighting as well as lovely big cat trees (so they can sit and gaze out of the window on rainy days) and scratching posts. They even have their own enclosed toilets and very spacious outside run with shelves to sit on and watch the fish splashing about in the pond.

We provide their bedding, however you are welcome to bring something familiar from home to help them settle in for example a favourite blanket and toys.

Feeding:

Cats are fed twice a day and clean fresh water is available at all times. We are also happy to cater for your cats individual needs and if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own food.

Inclusive Extras:

We love to spend time with your pets and include daily grooming as well as lots of cuddles to enhance their stay with us.
